Now that the new year is here, it’s the perfect time to get everything tidy and organized before spring cleaning begins in a couple months. But with all of our money spent on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year celebrations, we find ourselves needing a be a little more frugal when it comes to organizing.
Believe me when I tell you that you really don’t need to rush out to the store to buy endless boxes and crates. I promise you can organize everything in your home with things you already have. Once you know where to start, it’s easy!

How to Organize a Small Fridge
Is your fridge so small that you struggle to fit everything in? We went from having a humongous fridge to one that is much smaller with a lot less depth. I really had to think outside the box to fit everything in, but I managed it! The answer, yet again, is baskets. Each basket has it’s own category and helps me keep the fridge looking clean and organized. Get your small fridge sorted with this easy trick!
Stop Water Bottles Falling Over
Okay, you might be sick of baskets now… but they’re just SO useful for literally anything when it comes to organizing! This time, I’m using them to organize water bottles and plastic cups and stop the pesky things from falling over in the drawer. No more re-arranging them because they’ve fallen all over the place!

We’ve looked at how to organize under the bathroom sink, but how about the kitchen? There’s so much stuff to fit under there, including cleaning products, sponges, dishwasher tablets and more. The Easiest Way to Organize Tupperware Lids
Tupperware lids are probably one of the most annoying things to store. You can stack your storage containers but what do you do with all the loose lids? The solution is easier than you might think… all you’ll need is a medium-sized basket from your local dollar store! I set my basket on the shelf and then I store all the lids upright in the basket. Here’s another useful kitchen tip. I always like the look of glass jars in a pantry, each with a different item in, but in my house it’s just not practical. Instead, I use the boxes that the products come in to help me keep things tidy. My daughter’s snacks and lunchbox items could get super messy, but with the help of some trusty baskets and jars, it can all be organized and easy to find!

When your kids want to get all of those art and craft supplies, at the time, it can seem like such a brilliant idea. A couple hours of peace while they explore their creativity – what could be better?! But then you remember that you have to clear it all up afterwards… oh no!
